Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Peter Mbah (Enugu), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (Adamawa), and Babajide Sanwo-Olu have been given the Vanguard 2023 Governor of the Year Award.
The honors were given to the governors at the 2023 Vanguard Personality of the Year Awards, on Friday, at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Adeleke, who couldn’t hide his joy shared the good news via his X handle.
“I’m delighted to have received the prestigious Governor of the Year (Infrastructure) award from Vanguard Media Ltd. at the 12th Personality of the Year Awards held at Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos State,” he tweeted.
“This recognition is a testament to our administration’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural development, transforming the state into a vast construction site to make Osun State a choice destination for investors.”
The Osun State Governor was present to receive his award while others, including Obaseki who isn’t in the country sent representatives.
