President Bola Tinubu is set to begin the commissioning of projects executed by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), under the leadership of Nyesom Wike, in Abuja.
The commissioning of the projects is included in the activities planned to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Tinubu administration.
In line with this, the President has left the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, where he was on a working visit.
At 11:25 am, he was bid farewell by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and several government officials.
During his time in Lagos, the President officially commenced the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from the Victoria Island section of the 700-kilometer project.
Additionally, he inaugurated the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway and the Rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge.
Similarly, Tinubu virtually inaugurated the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges nationwide.
Upon his return to Abuja, the President will commission the Southern Parkway from the National Christian Centre to Ring Road One, along with other infrastructure projects.
