Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has paid a condolence visit to the family of the Late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja.
The First Lady, accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, and the wife of the National Security Adviser, Hajia Ribadu, visited the family of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja.
They were received by Mrs. Oghogho Musa, the wife of the Chief of Defence Staff.
While comforting the widow, Mrs. Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, and her children, Oluremi Tinubu emphasized that only the Lord determines when a person dies.
She encouraged the family to find solace in the good life and legacies left behind by the late COAS. She also urged the children to stay focused and uphold the ideals their father lived for.
Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja passed away at the age of 56 after a period of illness.
