The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Nigerians, especially the young people, to continue believing in the country.

She said that Nigeria will experience the emergence of a new nation that will take its rightful place among the group of Nations.

She made this promise at an event called “Celebrating the Youth of Our Nation,” with the topic: “Becoming: Pathway to Success,” to mark the first year of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. The event took place at the State House Conference Center in Abuja.

The First Lady mentioned that the government will keep working hard to create a supportive atmosphere for young people to contribute actively to the country’s progress and to improve Nigeria’s situation.

She highlighted the significance of having a clear goal, strong dedication, and the ability to bounce back from challenges for achieving success.

Stressing the value of education in reaching one’s potential, she assured that her special project, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), aims to support President Tinubu’s endeavors in education, farming, community investment, and economic empowerment.

She said, “Stay in school, finish school because we are a developing country. When you stay and finish your education, you will have more options.

“We will continue to do our best to provide an enabling environment to foster and support you as active participants in national development and in re-writing Nigeria’s story for good.

“I urge us to keep believing in Nigeria, by the special grace of God, we will witness the rebirth of a new nation that will take its rightful place among the comity of Nations.“
