President Bola Tinubu is currently engaged in a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing as part of the China-Africa Collaboration Summit.
The meeting aims to foster increased foreign direct investment (FDI) in Nigeria.
Key figures attending the summit include members of the Chinese government’s economic team, the Nigeria Governors’ Forum led by Governor Abdulrazak Abdulrahman of Kwara State, and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.
President Tinubu’s economic team and several cabinet members are also present.
Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale previously indicated that the meeting between the two leaders would result in the signing of multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to strengthen collaboration between both nations.
