President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his South African counterpart Cyril Ramaphosa held a bilateral talk following the latter’s swearing-in ceremony.
This was made known by Olusegun Dada, an aide to President Tinubu via a post on his X handle.
In a statement released by Tinubu’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, after the meeting, he quoted his principal as saying, “I really enjoyed your speech at the ceremony. I was delighted listening to you. We have lots of issues in common, and we need to work more closely together. It was a good celebration”.
Ramaphosa expressed gratitude to Tinubu for attending his inauguration.
