Terrorists releases Video, dares FG, Military

Notorious bandit leader Bello Turji has claimed that neither he nor his associates fear death, asserting that they wouldn’t have taken up arms if they were.

In a recent video circulating online, Turji criticized the government for deploying Service Chiefs to Sokoto State to fight his group, warning, “Stop sending Service Chiefs after us.”

This statement follows videos showing Turji and his men celebrating after allegedly seizing two Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles (MRAPs) from the Nigerian Army.

However, the Nigerian Defence Headquarters (DHQ) dismissed Turji’s claims, clarifying that the MRAPs were not captured but rather got stuck in a swampy area during operations against bandits in Zamfara State.

Amid these tensions, top military officials, including the Minister of Defence and Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, have arrived in Sokoto, signaling their readiness to intensify the fight against Turji and other criminal elements terrorizing the North West region.
