The Lagos State Government has ordered the immediate closure of the pedestrian bridge connecting Oshodi Bus Terminals 2 and 3 due to safety concerns.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, issued the order, citing the bridge’s compromised structural integrity.
Concrete barriers will be placed at the entrances to ensure pedestrian safety while a comprehensive assessment is conducted to determine if repairs or reconstruction are needed.
Pedestrians are advised to use an alternative bridge located 30 meters away during this period.
