JUST IN: Yoruba Nation Agitators paraded by Oyo Police

Suspected Yoruba Nation agitators, numbering 21, including a lady and two elderly men in their sixties, have been paraded by the men of Oyo State Police Headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan.

They were arrested and detained for their involvement in the forceful invasion of the Oyo State Government Secretariat on Saturday.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Adebola Hamzat, while addressing newsmen confirmed the arrest of the 21 suspected secessionists and warned other individuals with criminal intent that the state is not for them.

He stressed that the offence committed is treasonable felony and confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing.

The CP further explained that there were no casualties during the exchange of gunfire with the individuals, although one Amotekun officer sustained injuries.
