No fewer than 30 travelers, including several students from the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, were abducted on friday by suspected kidnappers along the Abuja-Nasarawa Highway.
Reports have it that the kidnappers waylaid the vehicles carrying the travelers and forced them into a nearby bush in the Uke area of Nasarawa State.
A student from the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, who was reportedly traveling to visit her family in Abuja is among the abductees.
A Daily Post report said the Police is yet to release an official statement, and efforts to contact the Nasarawa state PPRO for comments have been unsuccessful.
