Who Can Apply?
To qualify, you must:
- Not hold Japanese nationality
- Be living outside Japan, intending to enter on a student visa
- Have spent less than 31 days in Japan
- Possess basic Japanese proficiency (JLPT N4 or higher)
- Have been born after April 2, 1980
- Never have been a Rotary Yoneyama Scholar
Scholarship Benefits:
- Master’s & Doctoral Students: 140,000 JPY per month for two years
- Up to 250,000 JPY for travel expenses upon arrival in Japan

How to Apply:
- Apply via APU Online by September 16, 2024: Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship
- Submit an application directly to the scholarship organization in October 2024.
- APU will send a Letter of Recommendation after November 13, 2024, which you will forward to the scholarship organization.
