The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) stands as Nigeria’s premier private sector think-tank, committed to fostering sustainable economic development through initiatives driven by the private sector. As the convener of the annual Nigerian Economic Summit (NES) since 1993, NESG provides a vital platform for the convergence of private sector leaders and senior public sector officials to deliberate and strategize on the trajectory of the Nigerian economy.
Background:
In 1993, a visionary cohort of private sector leaders, impassioned by Nigeria’s economic prospects, conceived the Nigerian Economic Summit (NES). This initiative evolved into a steadfast platform for facilitating dialogue between private sector stakeholders and senior public sector figures, aimed at shaping the future of Nigeria’s economic landscape. In 1996, the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) was established and formally incorporated as a non-profit, non-partisan organization with a clear mandate to advocate for and drive the reform agenda for a globally competitive, private sector-driven Nigerian economy.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in writing and communication, demonstrating the ability to generate high-quality written content.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and adeptness in managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- A passion for contributing to the fields of social sciences, law, and business.
- Knowledge or proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS R, and Python would be advantageous.
- Strong research capabilities encompassing information gathering, synthesis, and effective presentation.
- A collaborative team player with the capacity to work autonomously when necessary.
