The Nigerian Air Force DSSC is still open, therefore anyone who has an interest or did not make the cut in the previous round of applications are welcome to apply again.
You have a fantastic potential to be one of the strongest air warriors on the continent.
Currently, applications are being accepted from graduates and postgraduates interested in working as Direct Short Service Cadets in a range of fields.
There are a few things we need to clarify regarding this recruiting before we discuss the requirements. Every year, the Nigerian Air Force holds three primary basic recruitment sessions. We have already prepared a piece on how to join the Nigerian Air Force as a graduate, so if you are a graduate and would like to do so, this one is not for you. Graduates are defined as those who hold an HND, BSC, or an equivalent qualification.
Second, in order to be commissioned as an Air Force Officer in the Nigerian Air Force using an SSCE certificate, a candidate must first complete the Nigerian Defence Academy, where they must spend roughly five years before receiving their commission.
In regard to the Air Force recruitment process, candidates with an SSCE, NCE, or National Diploma are the ones targeted for non-commissioned officer positions. These are the qualifications you must meet in order to enlist in the Nigerian Air Force.
