Nigeria LNG Limited proudly sponsors three prestigious prizes in Africa for science, literature, and literary criticism. Among these, the Nigeria Prize for Science, with a grand award of USD 100,000, recognizes outstanding scientific achievements that contribute to building a better Nigeria. The current theme focuses on innovations and technologies aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change.
Requirements:
The award is open to scientists and innovators worldwide, regardless of nationality, who are engaged in applying science to develop innovations for enhancing healthcare therapy.
Members of the Advisory Board or Panel of Judges, as well as their relatives, are ineligible to submit entries during their year of service and the subsequent year.
Nigeria LNG staff or their family members are not eligible to participate.
Entries must demonstrate outstanding merit and must have significantly advanced the frontiers of knowledge or introduced innovative technologies for reducing the impacts of climate change.
Submissions should represent completed scientific work, supported by either a proof of concept or tangible societal impact.
Only one entry per individual or group is allowed, and all materials supporting the entry must be submitted within the specified timeline.
