Reports To: Senior Manager – Compliance and Ethics Management
Division: Risk and Compliance
Mission:
- Manage strategic, operational, and compliance risks while ensuring internal processes and policies align with legal and regulatory standards.
- Implement and enhance MTNN’s internal control framework, promoting compliance and improving operational efficiency.
- Lead the team’s shift towards an internal control focus alongside their operational compliance responsibilities.
Description:
- Execute MTNN’s internal control framework and drive operational improvements.
- Develop and manage internal policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring compliance with both local and group policies.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 37301:2021 certification for Compliance Management Systems.
- Manage control self-assessments (CSA), remediate identified control weaknesses, and conduct control testing.
- Act as the subject matter expert, providing training on internal control procedures.
- Collaborate with other assurance providers and internal audit teams.
- Document control activities and report findings to Management and the Board.
- Stay updated on telecom industry compliance regulations and internal control practices.
Education:
- First degree in a relevant numerate discipline.
- MBA or Senior Management Program would be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 6–13 years in operational compliance and internal control, with 3+ years of managerial experience.
- Experience in medium to large organizations, preferably in telecommunications.
- Quality management and project management skills are desirable.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and onboard new strategic partners.
- Ensure compliance with MTNN and regulatory policies, addressing any infractions.
- Lead intra-divisional stakeholder engagement strategies and external stakeholder engagement with aggregators, content partners, and regulators.
- Provide data-driven insights and competitive intelligence to guide management decisions.
- Monitor partner revenue, subscriptions, and overall business performance.
- Identify new business opportunities in collaboration with partners.
Education:
- First degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Certification in Agile Project Management is an advantage.
Experience:
- 3–7 years in partner management, customer service, or telecommunications, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
