Roles and Responsibilities
As a Chartered Accountant at Ascentech Services Limited, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership and supervision to the accounting team.
- Implementing and maintaining robust accounting systems and processes.
- Reconciling income statements and preparing monthly financial reports.
- Managing the general ledger master data and ensuring compliance with state revenue service.
- Conducting internal and external audits and investigating any financial discrepancies.
- Analyzing financial systems and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Preparing and forecasting budget reports and negotiating monetary terms with vendors.
- Providing assistance with tax planning and ensuring complete compliance with state authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7-8 years of proven experience working as a chartered accountant.
- Proficiency in using Fitech ERP software.
- ICAN certification is mandatory.
- Experience in providing financial advice and conducting audits.
- Strong attention to detail and honesty are essential.
- Must be residing on the Mainland, Ikeja, Berger, and its environs.
