Job Description
Join their Medical Unit as a Medical Technologist and play a vital role in providing clinical laboratory services to their Mission community. As part of their team, you will perform essential clinical laboratory duties at the Post’s Health Unit (HU) under the supervision of experienced medical professionals. Additionally, you will contribute to educational and training initiatives within the HU, ensuring that the team remains well-equipped and knowledgeable in their roles. Your responsibilities will also include managing the Quality Assurance (QA) program to uphold the highest standards of service delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
Are you passionate about making a difference in healthcare? All selected candidates must be able to obtain and hold a Public Trust security clearance.
- Education Requirements: We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, chemistry, physical, or biological science from a recognized institution. You must also possess and maintain a current certification as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist as required by the host nation, country of origin, or the U.S. NYSC Certificate/Exemption/Exclusion is required.
- Experience: Are you ready to put your clinical laboratory experience to good use? We require a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a hospital laboratory, health agency, or medical research program.
