The 2024 Hatfield Lioness Scholarship for Female Students from Developing Countries offers a transformative opportunity for deserving female students from developing nations, providing access to postgraduate studies at Durham University. This esteemed scholarship program, established in 2018 during the celebration of 30 years of women students at Hatfield College, is made possible through the generous support of alumni, friends of the College, and other benefactors who share a commitment to advancing education and empowering women.

- One return economy air ticket from the home country to the UK, and travel costs between the UK airport and Durham City

Restrictions:
The Scholarship does not cover funding for dependants or travel during the Scholarship. Accommodation is provided for the Scholarship holder only; dependants cannot be accommodated.
Requirements For The Hatfield Lioness Scholarship:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have received an unconditional offer for their chosen master’s program by June 2024
- Not receive any other scholarship for postgraduate studies
- Identify as a woman
- Be a national of one of the eligible countries
Application Process:
To apply for the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship, candidates must complete two stages:
Stage 1: Apply to Durham University for their chosen master’s program and indicate their intention to apply for the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship.
Stage 2: Submit an application for the Hatfield College Lioness Scholarship, including all required documentation, by the College deadline of March 31, 2024.
Candidates will be notified of the outcome of their application by mid-June 2024.
