Job Description:
If you are employed as an IT officer at Aspom Travel Agency, you will:
- Manage IT Infrastructure: Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and systems.
- Provide Technical Support: Offer assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues to users within the organization.
- Ensure Data Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization’s data and systems from cyber threats.
- Software and Hardware Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, updates, and upgrades for software applications and hardware devices.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on IT tools, software applications, and security best practices.
- Monitor System Performance: Monitor the performance of IT systems and networks, identifying and resolving performance issues as they arise.
- Implement IT Policies: Enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and develop disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with IT vendors and service providers to procure the necessary equipment, software licenses, and support services.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in IT technology and trends, evaluating and recommending new solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures for reference and auditing purposes.
- Project Management: Coordinate and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of IT budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective solutions.
