Your Responsibilities
As the Company Accountant/Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing their day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping activities. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for Source Select, Inc.
- Handling accounts payable and receivable functions specific to the logistics and fulfillment industry.
- Reconciling bank statements and other financial documents related to our operations.
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports and statements tailored to the logistics sector.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts with a focus on logistics and supply chain metrics.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data for our logistics and fulfillment services.
Your Qualifications
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1+ years of relevant work experience as a Company Accountant or Bookkeeper within the logistics and supply chain industry.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices specific to logistics operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with knowledge of systems used in the logistics sector.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in handling logistics-related financial data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team with an understanding of logistics operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain-specific accounting software.
