The outbreak of Cholera in the southwestern state of Ogun has been confirmed by the State Government.
It was revealed that the life of a 62-year-old woman has been claimed with five persons hospitalized.
The Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Tomi Coker, said the incident happened in Ijebu Igbo, Ijebu North Local Government Area.
According to reports, a source in the community said the deceased woman contracted cholera while caring for her infected child, who is now among the hospitalized victims.
