Woman bakes 220 loaves for church event on wrong date, seeks help

A Nigerian lady has made a heartfelt appeal on social media after her mother, a baker, mistakenly baked 220 loaves of bread for a church program, only to discover that the event was scheduled for the following week.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), she shared the situation, expressing concern that the bread would spoil if not sold quickly.

She pleaded for support, asking people in Ketu, Lagos, or nearby areas to patronize her mother’s bakery. The bread is fresh and priced at ₦1500 per loaf. She provided the bakery’s location at 1 Olatunji Ige, Ikosi, Ketu, Lagos, and offered contact details for delivery or pickup.

Her statement read: “🚨 HELP NEEDED! My mum’s bakery made 220 loaves of bread for her church’s CSR program, thinking it was today, but the date was changed to next week! 😩 If we don’t sell these, they’ll spoil, and we still have to bake more next week!”

“Please, if you’re around Ketu or nearby, kindly help us. Kindly patronize Honey Bakes (FS). The bread is fresh, delicious, and just ₦1500 per loaf! 🍞 You can find us at 1 Olatunji Ige, Ikosi, Ketu, Lagos, or call 08080664475 for delivery/pickup.”

“Your support would mean the world to us right now!”
