Governor Babajide Sanwó-Olú of Lagos State has unveiled Africa’s first feature film centered on Artificial Intelligence (AI), titled Makemation.
The groundbreaking announcement was made during a ceremony held in Marina, Lagos, on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

The film delves into themes such as STEM education, digital skills, financial literacy, and gender equality. - Production Team: The film was produced by Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji, a human development expert, and directed by award-winning filmmaker Michael “AMA Psalmist” Akinrogunde. It features an acclaimed cast, including Richard Mofe-Damijo, Tony Umez, Shaffy Bello, Ibrahim Chatta, Toyin Afolayan, and Ali Nuhu.
