A recent incident at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) saw a parent faint after discovering that their son, who was expected to graduate, was still in his second year.
This revelation occurred during the university’s graduation ceremony in the office of the Dean of Students.
In response, the University Relations Officer at KNUST, Dr. Norris Bekoe, advised parents to be proactive in monitoring their children’s academic progress.
He urged parents to request proof of school fees payment from their wards and regularly check on their academic performance and behavior while in school to avoid such situations.
