‘One Dance’ hits 3billion streams on Spotify

The hit song, ‘One Dance’ has gotten 3billion streams on Spotify, making “One Dance” the 7th ever song to do that on the streaming platfrom. After its release,it captured the attention of many music lovers across the world, generating a high replay value, shattering records, and even getting a Grammy nomination which is seen as a big deal by many making the hit song stand out amongst others.

Upon this revelation, Drake has taken to social media to give a special shout-out to Afrobeats sensation Wizkid as their hit song One Dance hits 3billion streams benchmark. Thanking all those that worked on the song, especially Wizkid, Drake Wrote showed gratitude with a post on one of the Platforms on Social Media.

“One Dance is officially your First 3 Billion stream single, the 7th ever on Spotify. I remember walking into SOTA & your chalk board with the working track list for VIEWS, there was a song called “High Powered”. I asked which it was & you said “It’s an 85 beat I haven’t recorded yet..but it’s the Single & it’s Gone!,” he wrote.
