Nigerian Producer, Rexxie arrested by Uganda Immigration

Disclosing this via his Instagram page on Monday morning, a news that has made a loud buzz on the media space, Nigerian record producer and singer, Chisom Faith, popularly known as Rexxie, says he has been arrested in Uganda and describes it as “Unfair” to him.

It’s important to disclose that although revealing that he was being held by the Ugandan Immigration, he however didn’t disclose the reason for his arrest which he simply only described as “unfair,” a qualification that many are clamouring that he clarifies for them.

Rexxie simply posted on his page: “I’ve been arrested at the Ugandan Immigration, Pls I need help.” urging his fans to equally demand for his release with the hashtag, “UgandaFreeRexxie.”

Recalling similar precedent, Omah Lay and Tems were arrested and charged to court and subsequently detained in prison in Uganda for making an appearance at a concert held in the country at Speke Resort, Kampala, on Saturday, 12th of December for allegedly breaking the country’s COVID 19 rules.

Following this incident, many online have been calling for the release of the famous and well renowned Nigerian Artist.
