Nigerian-born Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), has revealed that his partner, Mary Olubukola Alade, funds his lifestyle.
Adegboyega, who earns no salary from his church, disclosed that Alade, who works for AON, earns £100,000 per year.
“I live with my partner, Mary Olubukola Alade, who earns £100,000 per year working for AON. I spend my time working for the church, for which I am unpaid. I am entirely supported by Mary,” he said.
“I have a first-class law degree from Nigeria but I have ‘sacrificed’ my legal career to help those who cannot help themselves.”
Adegboyega has been in a legal battle with UK Immigration and recently lost his appeal against deportation.
The UK Tribunal ruled that he overstayed his visitor visa from 2005 and did not qualify for residency on human rights grounds.
Despite his claims of contributing to the community, the court found his assertions exaggerated and lacking evidence.
