Skit maker Layi Wasabi recounted how his uncle traveled from Ibadan to Osogbo with the sole aim of flogging him for failing Physics in school.
He made this known during an interview on the 90s Baby Show.
The content creator shared that his uncle traveled two hours to punish him for excelling in biology, chemistry, and other arts subjects but failing physics.
Due to his grades, it was suggested that he switch to the arts stream. This displeased his mother, who felt he wasn’t taking his studies seriously, so she reported him to one of his uncles.
The next day, his uncle traveled to their home. When he arrived, Layi opened the gate for him and helped with his bags, knowing full well why his uncle had come.
After having a glass of water, his uncle asked Layi for his report card and then instructed him to lie down to receive a flogging for failing physics and doing poorly in mathematics.
