Making this known while introducing Wayne to the stage at her recent concert amid wild cheers from an electrifying crowd, Nicki Minaj has credited Lil Wayne for her career success, saying he “single-handedly changed” her life and promptly acknowledging him as the “Best rapper alive”
Introducing him on stage, Minaj said “Make some noise for the man that single-handedly changed my life,” a statement that was taken well by the crowd.
It’s important to note that Nicki Minaj started her career under Lil Wayne’s record label, Young Money, alongside Drake and some other artists.
The singer continued: “I am nobody without you. I don’t give a damn how long I’ve been in this game, I think you are the best rapper alive. Thank you for changing my life.”
Responding to this acknowledgement while on stage, Wayne said he would have agreed with her that he is the best rapper alive “but there is a certain person by the name of Nicki Minaj” who is better than him.
A response that has garnered a lot of positive press with many describing the statement as humbling and equally praising Wayne for it.
