Jay-Z has been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000, along with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The accusation, made in an updated civil lawsuit, alleges the incident occurred at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party.
“Another celebrity stood by and watched as Combs and Carter took turns assaulting the minor. Many others were present at the after party, but did nothing to stop the assault,” the complaint reads.
“Carter has been with Combs during many such instances described herein. Both perpetrators must face justice.”
Jay-Z strongly denies the allegations, calling them “heinous” and accusing the lawyer bringing the case of blackmail. He has challenged the lawyer to file a criminal complaint instead of a civil one.
The lawyer, Tony Buzbee, maintains the seriousness of the accusation and intends to pursue the case in court.
