A Nigerian influencer, Pooja, recently went viral after sharing a troubling message from a follower asking for help in selling a kidney.
The influencer posted the conversation on X (formerly Twitter), shedding light on the extreme measures people are considering amid difficult financial conditions.
The follower’s message read: “Good morning. I know you are an influencer, so you probably have connections. Please, I want to sell one of my kidneys. I don’t know if you can help me find someone interested. I would really appreciate your assistance.”
In response, the influencer said he reached out to the individual, encouraging him to maintain hope and share his situation.
He commented, “I have replied to him to keep faith and share what’s going on with him. I’m still waiting for his reply.”
Nigerians stormed the comment section and dropped testimonies alongside advices.
