Idrissa Akuna Elba is set to collaborate with Nigerian Filmmaker, Mo Abudu on a movie titled ‘Dust to Dreams’.
The movie is based on Lagos and it is to be directed by Idris.
On Tuesday, Mo took to her social media page to shed more light on the film which will be starring: British-Nigerian music star, Seal; Nollywood stars, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Eku Edewor, Atlanta Bridget Johnson, and a former Nigerian Idol contestant, Constance Olatunde.
Information gathered shows that the film is a collaboration between EbonyLife Films and the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), through its Creative Africa Nexus (Canex).
Mo Abudu, will serve as both executive producer and producer, with Heidi Uys as supervising producer. Co-producers on the project are Temidayo Makanjuola, Inem King, and Vanessa Demme.
In 2023, Abudu and Elba signed a co-production deal through their respective production companies, EbonyLife Media and Green Door Pictures and ‘Dust To Dreams’ is the first notable production.
