American rapper Kanye West has responded to criticisms of his wife, Bianca Censori’s outfit at the 67th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday.
Bianca Censori’s semi-nude attire sparked controversy, with many accusing West of humiliating his wife by having her dress scantily.
In a statement shared via his X handle, Kanye West clarified that while he approved of Bianca’s controversial outfit, the final decision was hers. He asserted his “dominion” over his wife and dismissed feminist criticisms.
West stated, “I have dominion over my wife. This isn’t some woke feminist stuff. She’s with a billionaire, so why would she listen to any of you? People say the red carpet look was her decision.”
He continued, “Yes, I don’t make her do anything she doesn’t want to, but she wouldn’t have been able to do it without my approval. I have no respect or empathy for anyone living because no one living can challenge me. But I do love some people and give them favor.”
