Popular Nigerian actress Funke Akindele is set to feature the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service in her upcoming film, honoring a promise she made during a visit to the agency last month.
The news was shared by Jubril Gawat, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Lagos State Governor, in a post on X.com on Saturday.
During a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service at its Alausa office in July, Akindele expressed her desire to collaborate with the agency and announced plans to incorporate fire prevention themes in her film.
This collaboration aims to educate the public on fire hazards and promote proactive measures to prevent fires in the state.
