Speaking in a recent interview, The popular veteran Fuji Singer, Alhaji Alabi Pasuma in a clear surprise to many spoke eloquently in English Language while equally declaring that the Fuji genre of music could never die not forgotten for facades to come because of the efforts that various predecessors of his has put into the acclaimed success of what Fuji Music is today.
Pasuma mentioned this feat is to be credited to the Pioneer of the Fuji music, Alhaji Shinde Batista while equally giving credit to others who equally promoted and contributd to the success of Fuji adding that his boss Ayinla Kollington and his mentor K1 De Ultimate also worked hard for Fuji to be where it is today.
Pasuma thanked God for where the Fuji music industry is at the moment while stressing that they are now looking forward to taking it to a higher level from where it used to be.
The superstar was seen surfing through the interview with eloquent English which will impact the stereotype of Fuji Singers being referred to by many as non educated people because they always use indigenous language (Yoruba) to sing and perform.
Alabi, while praying that he also gets to push Fuji music as a genre forwards and pioneer it’s further development also pointed to the challenges that the Fuji genre faces stating that the Afrobeats industry has hijacked most of the music genre and Fuji might soon be added to that list noting that the Fuji music industry only exists because of wedding ceremonies, birthday parties, naming ceremonies, housewarming and other social but localised events in the country.
