Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has broken the record for the most-watched TikTok live stream in Africa.
With 389,800 viewers in total, he broke the record during a livestream co-hosted by TikToke stars, Peller, Jarvis and Jo Blaq on Wednesday, October 30.

Over 164,000 people tuned in live to watch Davido’s TikTok session, during which he received more than 377 “lion” gifts, each valued at $400.
Davido announced that the funds from these gifts would be shared among his co-hosts, Peller, Jarvis, and Jo Blaq.

Peller, who previously held the record for the most-watched TikTok live stream in Africa, saw his record broken by Davido during a stream featuring Tiwa Savage.
