Following his spectacular performance in the UK, Bella Shmurda stopped by Capital Xtra Radio to discuss his goals for 2024.
Bella Shmurda revealed in the interview that he intends to release two projects in 2024: an EP in the spring and an album in September of that same year.
The album will be published on September 12, 2024, according to Bella Shmurda. This date is chosen to honor the late Streep Pop phenomenon and his friend Mohbad, who tragically died on the same day in 2023.
Bella Shmurda honored Mohbad after he died in 2023 by releasing the tune “My Brother.”
The EP “Road To September 12” follows his 2023 EP “DND,” which featured the singles “Ara” and “NSV” with Tiwa Savage.
Over sixty memorial songs were recorded in Mohbad’s honor by Nigerian musicians following his passing. Mohbad’s history and influence on Nigerian music are also honored by Bella Shmurda’s tribute album.
