Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant Zion has made it clear that, despite being paired with his girlfriend Chinwe on the show, he won’t leave with her if she decides to exit.
Chinwe threatened to quit on Thursday night, accusing Zion of betraying her to appease other housemates.
She later confided in fellow contestant Michky on Friday morning, revealing she had informed Biggie of her decision to leave.
Unfazed by Chinwe’s threats, Zion insisted that if she leaves, he should be allowed to stay.
He expressed his frustration, saying, “This is only the second week, and we should be focusing on why we’re here, not putting out unnecessary fires. If she wants to go, that’s her decision, but I’m here to compete.”
Zion emphasized that while they came into the house as a pair, it doesn’t mean they have to leave together.
He added, “I can remove the ZinWe badge and continue on my own. We should be helping each other grow, not letting issues divide us.”
