Following her recent appointment as the senior special adviser to Osun state governor on arts, entertainment and culture, Popular Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has officially launched her first book titled ‘Becoming Laide Bakare: Make Millions in 6 months’ on Sunday, 3rd of March 2024.
Congratulations poured in at the book launch party, which took place at Picaddily express, Igbo Efon, Lekki-Epe expressway, Lagos, was graced by Nigerian celebrities across entertainment industry like Oritse Femi, Segun Johnson, among others.
Bakare took to her Instagram page as she shared video covering the event. ‘Becoming Laide Bakare’ is an autobiography that details her journey from small beginnings in Lagos to becoming a successful actress and businesswoman.
The book provides a behind-the-scenes look at the Nigerian entertainment industry, shedding light on the realities of the business. It equally afforded Laide to share her personal story with candour and honesty, offering readers a glimpse into the challenges she faced along the way and the lessons she learned as she navigated her path to success.
