The University of Ilorin has formalized a partnership with North-China University of Water Resources and Electric Power, Zhengzhou, Henan, China.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on September 5, 2024, at the Beijing International Conference Centre during the First Exchange Mechanism Conference of the China-Africa Consortium of Universities and the China-Africa Higher Education Dialogue.
The collaboration aims to foster academic linkages and cooperation in education, research, and cultural exchange. This agreement will lead to joint research projects, student and staff exchanges, and other academic initiatives.
Professor Wahab Egbewole, SAN, Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the importance of cross-cultural academic exchange and the potential for addressing global challenges in water resources and electric power.
