The National Examinations Council (NECO) has introduced a ₦50,000 fee for candidates seeking to reprint their certificates.
This new policy, announced by NECO’s Registrar, Dantani Wushishi, was disclosed in a public notice on Monday in Minna, the Niger State capital.
The council clarified that the fee is subject to periodic review and that requests for reprints will only be accepted within one year of the original certificate issuance.
After this timeframe, NECO will no longer entertain such requests. Additionally, the council has set a one-month deadline for candidates to request result corrections.
