President Bola Tinubu and Equatorial Guinean President Teodoro Mbasogo on Wednesday evening in Malabo signed an agreement on the Gulf of Guinea Pipeline Project.
This further affirm their willingness to strengthen their partnership for mutual development.
This was contained in a statement by presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale on Thursday.
During the signing of the agreement, President Bola Tinubu highlighted that the accord encompasses various legislative and regulatory measures concerning the gas pipeline, including its establishment, operation, transit of natural gas, ownership, and overarching principles.
In his remarks, made during his three-day official visit to Equatorial Guinea, President Tinubu emphasized that this agreement would pave the way for new opportunities in gas exploration and create employment opportunities.
