Lagos State Governor, Babájídé Sanwó-Olú, is set to commission 36 newly completed roads and other infrastructure projects across the state.
This significant development is part of the governor’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and improving the quality of life for Lagos residents.
The projects include the construction of five bridges and a pedestrian bridge, spanning multiple local government areas such as Agege, Alimosho, Badagry, Eti-Osa, Ikeja, and Kosofe.
Some key highlights include the rehabilitation of Dopemu Road in Agege, the construction of Abiola-Onijemo Link Road with a bridge in Ifako-Ijaiye, the reconstruction of Irede Road in Amuwo Odofin, and the rehabilitation of Oyinkan Abayomi Drive in Ikoyi, Eti-Osa.
The commissioning will begin on Monday, December 9, 2024, with the Abiola-Onijemo Link Road in Ifako-Ijaiye and the Alapere Pedestrian Bridge in Kosofe.
On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, Governor Sanwo-Olu will open the Ikoyi road network, which includes Oyinkan Abayomi Drive, Femi Okunnu Road, and Macpherson Avenue.
