The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced that about 90 percent of bulk power supply has been restored nationwide following a partial disturbance that caused a system collapse on Monday evening.
Efforts to fully recover the grid began immediately, with Azura power station initiating the process.
The TCN spokesperson, Ndidi Mbah, confirmed that power has been restored to major areas, including the Abuja axis, though some regions remain affected.
Investigations into the cause will be conducted once full recovery is achieved.
