Port Harcourt Refinery begins Production

The Port Harcourt Refinery, owned by Nigeria, has begun processing crude oil.

Olufemi Soneye, the spokesperson for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, on Tuesday, announced that the refinery is operating at 60 percent capacity.

Currently, it processes 60,000 barrels of crude oil per day.

The refinery has a total capacity of 250,000 barrels per day.
