Ọọ̀ni of Ifẹ̀, Ọba Adéyẹyè Ògúnwùsì has called for collaboration with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in eliminating societal ills, and fostering nation building.
The Highly Reverred Monarch made the plea while hosting Ola Olukoyede, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), at his palace in Ilé Ifẹ̀.
In a statement shared on the Monarch’s X handle, he lauded the anti-graft boss for his belief in the younger generation and efforts in giving the country a better image.
“It was a great delight to host Mr. Ola Olukoyede, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), at the Royal Court of the Kingdom of Ife,” it read.
“I applaud your dedication to leading the EFCC in curbing societal ills and enhancing Nigeria’s image as an attractive destination with good governance and accountability.
“Nigeria needs dedicated patriots like Ola Olukoyede, who bring innovative ideas, passion for nation-building, and a strategic focus on community inclusion in governance.
“Your enthusiasm for Nigeria is inspiring, especially your belief in the younger generation as the nation’s greatest asset. They are full of creative ideas, energy, and a desire to shape the future through technology.
“I commend your commitment to developing actionable plans in partnership with royal institutions for young Nigerians who reject evil and aim to use their tech knowledge for the nation’s benefit.
