The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has announced that Nigerians will benefit from reduced fuel prices starting Monday.
This decision follows an agreement with Dangote Refinery, which will allow IPMAN members to purchase petrol at a lower rate.
According to Abubakar Maigandi, the National President of IPMAN, the refinery has agreed to sell petrol to its members at ₦940 per litre for depots and ₦990 per litre for trucks.
As a result, IPMAN members, who currently sell petrol at prices ranging from N1,150 to ₦1,200 per litre, will reduce the price by ₦50 per litre, depending on the location.
This reduction is expected to bring some relief to Nigerians who have been grappling with high fuel costs.
