Nigeria secures $7.6 Billion Investment at Africa Investment Forum

Nigeria has secured a total of $7.6 billion in investment commitments at the 2024 Africa Investment Forum, hosted by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and its partners in Rabat, Morocco.

The announcement was made by AfDB President Akinwumi Adesina, who expressed optimism about the potential impact of these investments on Nigeria’s economy.

Several Nigerian state governors, including those from Lagos, Kaduna, Katsina, Kwara, Plateau, and Ogun, attended the event.

The forum facilitated a total of $29.2 billion in investment interests for various projects across Africa, ranging from energy and infrastructure to agriculture and technology.
