The naira showed gains against the dollar on Friday in both the official and parallel markets.
According to FMDQ data, it strengthened from ₦1,675.49 to ₦1,666.72 at the official rate, marking an ₦8.77 improvement.
Similarly, in the black market, the naira appreciated by ₦15, closing at ₦1,735 per dollar, compared to ₦1,750 the previous day.
This marks a positive start for the currency in November 2024.
