Multichoice, the parent company of DStv and GOtv, has announced a price increase for its subscription packages, effective from March 1, 2025.
This adjustment comes nearly a year after the last price review and is attributed to the rising costs of running a business in Nigeria, including currency depreciation and high inflation.
New DStv Prices
- DStv Compact: ₦19,000 (up from ₦15,700)
- DStv Compact Plus: ₦30,000
- DStv Premium: ₦44,500
- DStv Family: ₦11,000 (up from ₦9,300)
- DStv Access: ₦6,000 (up from ₦5,100)
New GOtv Prices
- GOtv Value: ₦3,900 (up from ₦3,600)
- GOtv Plus: ₦5,800 (up from ₦4,850)
- GOtv Max: ₦8,500
- GOtv Supa: ₦11,400

Multichoice has stated that the price increase is necessary to continue offering world-class homegrown and international content, delivered through the best technology.
The company has also pointed to the economic challenges in Nigeria, such as naira depreciation, high energy costs, and inflation, which stood at 24.48 percent as of January 2025.
